Family Focus Chiropractic Center is designed to care for the growing family. Dr. Janna understands the demands of life when planning, caring for, protecting, and growing your family. From pre-conception to pregnancy, pregnancy to birth and birth to adulthood, Dr. Janna loves to care for whole families. Chiropractic care is an essential part of wellness when raising a healthy family. Keeping the nervous system plugged in to the rest of the body, communicating without any interference from misalignments of the spine (called subluxations), is the key to great health. To ensure families have continued access to chiropractic adjustments, our fees are affordable for the whole family to grow and live at their best. We cater to Moms, Dads, babies, kids of all ages, pregnant Mommies, and parents-to-be. Please call and set up appointments for you and your family. how do we maintain our health?
In chiropractic it is understood that the reason we lose our health and well being is a result of The 3Ts-Traumas, Toxins & Thoughts. We experience these different kinds of stresses every single day. Trauma is defined as a physical mishap that causes injury to the body. Toxins are the numerous environmental chemicals we are exposed to on a daily basis. These chemicals accumulate in our bodies, beginning as children, over the course of our lives. This creates disharmony in the body and can potentially lead to chronic illnesses. And finally, Thoughts. This is probably the most underestimated cause of dis-ease, disharmony, and loss of health and well being. Thoughts include the daily stresses of juggling our families, jobs, schedules, obligations, finances, homework, baths, bedtime, etc. No one is impervious to The 3Ts but fortunately, chiropractic care provides the prevention and cure to the health-robbing effects of The 3Ts (causing subluxations).
webster technique certification
Dr. Janna is certified in The Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). The Webster Technique is a chiropractic analysis and adjustment of a pregnant mother's pelvis and sacrum with soft tissue and muscle release. The alignment of the birth canal through correction of the pelvis and sacrum is critical for balance, uterine health and function and indirectly, optimal positioning of baby. This can lead to more comfort for the pregnant mother, and better outcomes for pregnancy, delivery and birth for both Mommy and Baby.
Chiropractic care for a pregnant Mommy can bring more comfort as pregnancy progresses, build confidence in Mom as baby's arrival nears, and prepare her body to deliver her baby in a way she desires.

Family Focus Chiropractic Center accepts Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Health Share Plans, Flex Plans, cash, credit card payments and personal checks. We DO NOT submit insurances of any kind, including private health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, Disability, FMLA, Workman's Comp, Auto Accident, Aflac, etc.; basically, anything that involves paperwork.
About Dr. Janna
Dr. Janna L. Rector received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2005. Her post-doctoral studies have included Activator Methods, Sacro-Occipital Technique (S.O.T.), Applied Kinesiology (A.K.) and Nutritional Response Testing (NRT).
She is also certified in the Webster Technique, a chiropractic technique that balances the sacrum and pelvis to achieve better pregnancy and birth outcomes. Dr. Janna belongs to the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), International Chiropractic Association (ICA), the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) and is Board Certified by the State of Nebraska.
Dr. Janna grew up in Schuyler and worked at Groene Chiropractic Clinic during her high school and college years as an assistant and returned to work there for 15 years after graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic. She comes from a strong chiropractic family with many family members being Chiropractors as well. She particularly enjoys working with pregnant mothers, children and infants and is currently furthering her education in this direction. She is passionate about creating healthy families through chiropractic care, nutrition and positive life choices.
Dr. Janna enjoys volunteering at church and her daughter’s school, reading, learning new things and spending time with her family.
